Agencies and hands-on owners who want cheap, capable software and have the time to do the work themselves. On price alone, BrightLocal costs less than we do.
It's a toolkit, not a service. It shows you what's wrong and gives you buttons to fix it, but someone still has to write the posts, ask for reviews, reply to them and rebuild the categories every week.
FAQ
Yes. BrightLocal's single-location plans are $41–$65 a month on monthly billing, per their help center. We charge $99 a month. The difference is labor: BrightLocal is software you run, we do the work.
If you have a few hours a week and enjoy the work, BrightLocal is excellent value. If you'd rather never log into a tool, a managed service makes more sense.
Only on its Grow plan, per BrightLocal's plan comparison. Track and Manage don't include the review tools.
